For individual therapy to be effective, it has to be tailored specifically to you. The relationship formed between a therapist and a patient is the key to successful therapy, as it functions as the vehicle of change. Why? Relationships give life meaning. One of the greatest experiences a person can have is to feel like they can be themselves entirely, in the presence of another, without feeling judged or criticized (which is much rarer than it seems). Everyone wants to be seen, however scary that may be. A genuine, trusting relationship between you and me will allow you to be seen in a way that feels safe and frees you up to explore your own mind, like a child in a playground looking back at their parents before going back to their own world of play and discovery.

You may be seeking therapy for depression or to learn how to manage your anxiety. You may be feeling overwhelmed, angry, lonely, or sad. You may be seeking therapy because you want to improve your relationships, enrich your love life, or optimize your performance in your sport, career, or craft. Together, we can work on achieving your specific goals. This entails looking into the whole of who you are— your thoughts, feelings, identity, and the ways in which you relate to the people in your life.
